3. PRICING
• Items should be priced in $1.00 increments—no cents
• Minimum price is $2.00
• Ask yourself, “How much would I be willing to pay?” A good guide is 1⁄4 to 1⁄2 of the retail price. Name brands and hard to find items will sell for more.
• Pricing suggestions (THESE ARE SUGGESTIONS ONLY__YOU MAY PRICE HOWEVER YOU WANT)
Outerwear/Coats: $10 and up
Tops/Dresses: $3-$15 and up
Skorts/Shorts: $2-10
Pants/Jeans: $5-15 and up
Capris/Skirts: $3 -10
Shoes/Boots: $5-$15
*Exceptions: boutique and high-end brands will be more

4. Tagging
• All items are priced and tagged by you—giving you more control!
• Please hang and tag all clothing with the item facing forward, the hanger hook to the left (like a question mark ?) and the tag (index card or similar) on the right.---PLEASE SEE EXAMPLE
• All items must be buttoned, zipped, snapped and tied so they look their best.
• They must be tagged with a 3x5 index card (or similar) pinned/taped vertically. Cards should appear as in example.
• If you do not want an item sold for half price at the half price sale, mark the bottom right corner “ND” in RED and circle the price.
• Describe the item so if the tag gets separated from the item we can match it. Include name brand or NEW in the description to help validate pricing.
• Tag should be on the right top side of item as you look at it. Writing should be on the lower 2/3 of the card.

FAQ
Q: Do I have to stay during the sale to take care of my stuff?
A: NO. You are welcome to come during the sale and help if you would like, but we will have volunteers scheduled to work during the sale. You simply bring your items in priced and ready to be sold and we will take care of the rest.

Q: How much will it cost for me to participate?
A: The only cost to you is the $7 participation fee (which is taken from the check after the sale) and the percentage that goes to Blend to cover overhead costs.

Q: What if I am not sure how to price the items or don’t want to?
A: Guidelines are given to help with pricing. A good rule of thumb is 1/3 – 1/2 of retail. It also is good to consider “What would I be willing to pay?”

Q: What if I want my unsold items back?
A: You are welcome to pick up items after the sale. However, they must be picked up by 4:30 pm on the 18th or they will be donated to charity. If you are unable to pick up your items and you would like them back, you may give permission for someone else to pick them up. Please let one of the Blend staff members know at the time of drop-off if you will be having someone else pick your items up.

Q: How can I come to the presale?
A: The presale is only for consignors and volunteers. Join the fun and shop early.

Q: Why shouldn’t I just have a garage sale?
A: Garage sales are great, but they are a lot of work and shoppers want to pay bottom dollar. By consigning with us, you eliminate a lot of the hassles: advertising, haggling over price, strangers at your home, concerns about the weather, and your time.
